Burnley could be set to make a sensational signing in the form of Belgium U21 international Ameen Al-Dakhil.
The Iraq-born midfielder has been the subject of a £3.5 million bid from the club in the summer, and could be set to finally make the move to Turf Moor in the January window. The move would be a welcome one for the club, who are looking to strengthen their squad as it pushes for the Premier League.
“Kompany called me personally,” explains the current Sint-Triuden centre-back. “Am I ready to leave? I hope so.”
His language suggests the personal side is as good as done, with the two clubs now looking to reach an agreement to release Al-Dakhil from his current deal.
Sorare Analysis
Using Sorare's scoring system as an indicator (based on OPTA performance), we can take a closer look at Ameen's stats.
Ameen Al-Dakhil has been a key figure for STVV this season, featuring in 81.5% of all their minutes played so far this season, averaging 87 minutes per game.
Primarily positioned as part of a back three, but has been deployed in a back 2.
Over the past 6 months he scores an average of 48.4 points - not the greatest scores for a centre back. His all around scores are not where you'd expect to see them but he is playing at a struggling side in STVV this season. If we compared his scoring to that of Taylor Harwood Bellis during his time at Stoke, we can see there is likely to be a huge uptick in score improvement should the deal materialise and Ameen cement the starting role.
Price wise he has seen a recent spike in the limited scarcity due to the rumours we're discussing now. However, he currently sits in a downward trend spot in the rare scarcity whice usually represents a buying opportunity if scores are expected to improve.
His current floor price in Rare is 0.097 ETH, with a recent average price of 0.0849 ETH.
