Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Croatian goalkeeper Dinko Horkaš is reportedly on the verge of signing for French side Lorient in the coming days. According to reports, the transfer fee for Horkaš is around €1m. It is said that Horkaš is already in France, as the two clubs have reportedly reached an agreement. It appears that Lorient scouts were impressed with Horkaš after watching him in action a few months ago.
This news may have an impact on recent transfer rumours surrounding Etienne Green, who had been linked with a move to Lorient away from St Etienne. Should this deal go through, it would appear Etienne Green will continue to fight for his place at St Etienne with Dreyer and Fall as they struggle to stay in Ligue 2.
Overall, it seems that Lorient are making moves to bolster their goalkeeping options, and Horkaš could be a valuable addition to the team.
