Feyenoord is reportedly closing in on FC Twente's asking price for midfielder Ramiz Zerrouki, with 1908.nl reporting that the Rotterdam club is preparing an offer "not far from the desired amount" of around €7 million.
While FC Twente coach Ron Jans had previously stated that the club hoped to keep Zerrouki until the end of the season, it now appears that a winter transfer could bein the works.
However, Feyenoord's pursuit of the 24-year-old Algerian is said to be ongoing and has yet to be confirmed by either party.
Zerrouki has been in fine form of late, as his Sorare scores will back up:
He's a great all around scorer, just shy of a few decisive scores that could ultimately push him into the upper echelons of performers in the midfield of the Challenger Europe division.
The price of his Limited card can be seen below, current market trend suggests people feel that this move could be a positive one for Zerrouki and his performances with Feyenoord hoping to push for the title and hold onto their position in first place of the Eredivisie.
